Spron is run by Mert Can Eyriyer. This page says what we collect, why, and how to get it removed. Short version: the website address you type in and anonymous traffic counts. Nothing is sold.
What we collect when you check your site
The check on this page asks for one thing: your website address. We read two public files on that site (robots.txt and sitemap.xml) to count your pages, and we show you the result. We do not ask for your email, and you do not need an account.
The result is held in memory on our server for about 10 minutes so that repeat checks are fast, then it is gone. We do not build a list of the websites people check.
If you go on to start a trial, that happens on our app at app.spron.ai and you create an account there. What that account collects is covered when you sign up.
What we collect when you just browse
We run Umami on our own server for traffic stats — page views, referrer, country, browser. It sets no cookies and stores no identifiers that point back to you.
We also run PostHog for product analytics, configured so it stores nothing on your device.
We use Crisp to provide the support chat on the site. If you start a conversation, Crisp may process the information you send and basic technical details needed to provide the chat.
How long we keep it
Site checks are kept for about 10 minutes and are not written to a database. Older email addresses collected by the previous version of this site (the free report waitlist) are still held and will be deleted on request — see below. Analytics data is aggregate and identifies no one.
Your choices
Email [email protected] and we will send you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. No forms, no conditions — deletion requests are done within 30 days. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Third parties
- Umami — traffic stats, self-hosted by us, cookieless.
- PostHog — product analytics, no device storage.
- Crisp — website support chat.
- Google Sheets — holds email addresses from the previous version of this site. No new entries are added.
- Coolify / our hosting provider — serves this site and keeps standard server logs.
